Opal talk & Eulo showroom information

Eulo is a tiny town on the Paroo river, situated between the Koroit and Yowah opal fields in SW QLD. Whilst no opal in found in Eulo itself it has been a centre for opal sales since the 1800's when the famous and colourful  Eulo Queen, Isobel Robinson ran a bar and bought and sold opal here.

I love to educate travellers about our National gemstone, my educational opal talk is on daily at 10am or please ring 0437063660 for all times.
My opal talk covers how opal is formed, where it is found and the different formations found on different fields here in Australia, as well as touching on the countries and types of opal found elsewhere in the world. I explain the differences between black opal, white opal, crystal opal and other types. I also cover how opal is priced and the properties that decide the prices. I explain the differences between solid opals, triplets and doublets and their various merits. So if you would like to learn more about magical opal, this is the informative talk for you!

My showroom is a converted shipping container on my block at 52 Eulo st, Eulo. I have a range of quality jewellery handmade here in Australia by myself. I use only the finest quality materials available and I guarantee my workmanship.  I sell posters, jigsaws, opal souvenirs and my new range of skincare- Outback herbal.  There is something for everyone, catering to all budgets.
